Lucy C Smith (The Artist)

About

I am a self-employed fine artist and illustrator living in the rolling hills of Derbyshire. In 2017, I graduated from Loughborough University School of Art with a First-class BA Hons degree in Fine Art. Since graduating, I began a creative career as a full-time Fine artist and illustrator.

Fine Art

I work primarily in mediums — acrylic and pencil. I thrive off minute detail, as evident in my realistic and representative works. My fine art subjects span widely from portraiture to classic vehicles to landscapes.

Illustration

In my illustrations, I work with traditional mediums — ink and watercolour. I produce colour and black and white illustrations aimed at picture book and young reader audiences. I relish the chance to infuse comical details into my illustrations.
